NASPO and Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council Announce New Partnership

The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) and the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council (SPLC) are pleased to announce they have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two organizations to form a new strategic partnership aimed at advancing sustainable procurement practices across state governments.

“Having SPLC as a partner will give NASPO Primary members and their offices access to valuable resources that will help them make more sustainable purchasing decisions,” said Brandi Ann Willard, Director of Partnerships for NASPO. “NASPO is committed to supporting our members in developing more sustainable procurement practices.”

NASPO Primary members and their offices will have the opportunity to access SPLC’s extensive knowledge base, including best practices, case studies, and tools designed to integrate sustainability into procurement processes. They will also gain access to community and networking opportunities with sustainability leaders and procurement professionals across various sectors.

“This partnership will enable state governments to deepen their commitment and success in sustainable procurement practices, providing tools, resources, and peer collaboration,” said Marc Heisterkamp, Chief Executive Officer of SPLC. “Together with NASPO we can drive meaningful positive impact in public sector.”
