NASPO Continues Popular Certification Reimbursement Program for Third Year

Lexington, KY – The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) is pleased to announce the extension of its successful Certification Reimbursement Program for the 2025 May and October testing windows.  Since its inception in 2022, the program has provided more than $265,000 in reimbursements to procurement professionals seeking professional certifications.

The program reimburses application and exam fees for those procurement professionals who successfully complete the Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) examinations offered by the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC).

“The remarkable success of our reimbursement program demonstrates NASPO’s ongoing commitment to investing in the professional development of public procurement officials,” said Lindle Hatton, NASPO CEO. “By extending this program for a third year, we’re helping to ensure that procurement professionals have access to the resources they need to advance their careers and better serve their states. The funds we’ve provided in reimbursements represent a direct investment in the future of public procurement.”

NASPO is proud to be one of the founding partners of the UPPCC, the globally recognized certifying entity for government procurement professionals. For over 45 years, NASPO has encouraged procurement professionals to seek certification and actively supports UPPCC’s mission.

The UPPCC offers two premier certifications:
