Allen Meyer Chief Operations Officer
Al Meyer has served as Iowa’s Chief Operations Officer of the Central Procurement and Fleet Services Enterprise since October 2018. Al entered work with the State of Iowa as he was coming off of 36 years of serving in the military. His final military assignment was as the United States Property and Fiscal Officer for the Iowa National Guard. His responsibilities included oversight of the Federal Purchasing and Contracting process. Al has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Drake University, and a Masters’s of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He also holds the Certificate of Defense Financial Management. Tenure, October, 2018
