The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) and Civic Match by Work for America have formed a partnership that the organizations say will help recently displaced federal workers find opportunities in state and local government.

“As the federal government transitions between administrations, thousands of skilled professionals are seeking new opportunities, creating a unique chance to strengthen state and local government workforces with top talent,” according to a NASPO statement announcing the alliance. “This partnership is an important milestone in raising awareness of public procurement careers and helping individuals find meaningful opportunities amidst career transition.”
