Procurement U Is Growing: What to Expect in 2026
Since its launch, Procurement U has been committed to providing procurement professionals with free, high-quality education. Thousands of learners have built new skills, earned certifications, and advanced their careers through courses that are accessible, innovative, and trusted.
In 2026, Procurement U is stepping into an exciting new chapter that ensures the program keeps thriving and continues to serve the procurement profession for years to come. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s changing in 2026, and how you can be part of the future.
Expanding Opportunities Through the Procurement Professionals Alliance (PPA)
To continue to advance the procurement profession, NASPO has created the Procurement Professionals Alliance (PPA)—a new, member-based nonprofit organization. PPA was formed to serve the broader procurement community, including public, private, nonprofit, and academic stakeholders.
Through a strategic collaboration, Procurement U will now be offered as a benefit of PPA and NASPO membership benefit. This partnership ensures Procurement U remains sustainable, accessible, and innovative while also expanding its reach to a wider audience.
What’s Changing?
Beginning January 1, 2026, full access to Procurement U’s course catalog, including self-paced courses, microlearnings, and instructor-led trainings—will be available only to NASPO and PPA members.
To maintain uninterrupted access, learners should join PPA before December 31, 2025.
Why Join PPA?
Joining PPA means more than keeping your access to Procurement U. Membership comes with significant added value:
- Free membership for two years (if you enroll before Jan. 1, 2026)
- Over $16,000 in professional development benefits: Certification reimbursement, webinars, leadership training, etc.
- A nationwide community of procurement professionals for peer networking and career advancement
What Non-Members Can Expect
Not joining right away? Non-members will still have access to a curated selection of partner-developed, self-paced courses, along with their transcripts, learning history, and course completion certificates.
Looking Ahead
Procurement U is growing, and you have the opportunity to grow with it. By joining PPA, you’ll continue to access the trusted training you know—while gaining new tools, resources, and connections that support career growth.
Procurement U is actively developing new courses and resources for 2026, and PPA members will be among the first to benefit.
