NASPO Announces Finalists for the 2025 George Cronin Awards for Procurement Excellence

Lexington, KY – The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) is pleased to announce the 2025 George Cronin Awards for Procurement Excellence winners, which were presented at its 2025 Annual Conference Awards dinner on October 1, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois.

The Cronin Awards recognize outstanding procurement projects demonstrating innovation, professionalism, and measurable benefits. This year’s finalists were:

  • State of Florida – “Supplier Engagement”
  • Commonwealth of Massachusetts – “Improving Supplier Relationship Management with Multi-Supplier Business Reviews”
  • Commonwealth of Massachusetts – “Smarter Service, Safer Contracts: Transforming State Procurement with Dual AI Agents”
  • State of Michigan – “rAMP UP! to Success for New Buyer Training and Retention”
  • State of North Carolina – “PAC-a-Palooza: Preparing Interns for Public Procurement Service”

After committee review, the 2025 Cronin Award winners are:

  • Gold: Commonwealth of Massachusetts – “Smarter Service, Safer Contracts: Transforming State Procurement with Dual AI Agents”
  • Silver: Commonwealth of Massachusetts – “Improving Supplier Relationship Management with Multi-Supplier Business Reviews”
  • Bronze: State of North Carolina – “PAC-a-Palooza: Preparing Interns for Public Procurement Service”
