NASPO Valuepoint Announces Supplier Awards for Police Radar/Lidar Speed Enforcement

NASPO ValuePoint® announces the award for contract #24823 for Police Radar/Lidar Speed Enforcement & Accident Reconstruction. A total of nine (9) suppliers were recommended for award. As awards are fully executed, they are made available through the portfolio to NASPO members. The Multistate Sourcing Team led by the State of Washington completed the re-solicitation of the contract which will allow state and local governments nationwide to source police radar/lidar speed measuring devices and accident reconstruction services approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The Police Radar/Lidar Speed Enforcement & Accident Re-Construction contract awardees include one or more of the following categories of offerings:

Category One: Includes speed enforcement, speed advisory and accident and crime scene re-construction goods and services that meet/exceed the Standard of Quality (SOQ) established in the solicitation. Additionally, Group A Speed Enforcement products must be approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) and shown on the NHTSA Conforming Products List (CPL).

Category Two: Includes speed enforcement goods and services that meet/exceed the product description in Category One but are not approved or shown on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Conforming Products List (CPL). In alignment with the requirements of the solicitation, products in Category Two must be able to demonstrate an endorsement for law enforcement use. This includes, but is not limited to, evidence of product holding up in court to enforce a citation, a written endorsement of product by a law enforcement official or organization, or evidence of use by a law enforcement organization.

The Master Agreements for the Police Radar/Lidar Speed Enforcement portfolio are effective as of 9/1/2024. Contracts are available for use by state governments, institutions of higher education, political subdivisions, the District of Columbia, territories of the United States, and other eligible entities, subject to approval by the state chief procurement official and compliance with local statutory and regulatory provisions.
