Course Description:

Description: This Procurement U microlearning discusses the use of best and final offers (BAFOs) in public procurement, including situations when the use of BAFOs may be appropriate and factors to consider when engaging in a BAFO process.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify circumstances that may lead to the use of BAFOs during the public procurement process  
  • Identify the steps commonly involved in the issuance of a BAFO request
