Uncategorized Press Release The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) is deeply saddened by the catastrophic tornadoes that struck Nashville and surrounding areas over the weekend and wishes to extend our sincerest condolences to all those affected by these devastating storms.
“Our hearts are with the victims and families affected by the tornadoes. NASPO will stand with you during this extremely difficult time.” said NASPO CEO Lindle Hatton.
The rare December tornadoes leveled homes and businesses across Nashville and surrounding counties. Early reports indicate at least 7 fatalities and dozens still missing among widespread destruction.
“In the aftermath of these catastrophic storms, Tennesseans should know they do not stand alone,” said NASPO Board President Delbert Singleton. “Tennessee is a valued member of NASPO and our extended community. NASPO and our member states across the country stand united in helping Nashville get back on its feet.”
NASPO is currently planning for its upcoming Exchange conference to take place in Nashville March 5-7, 2024.
